The Malampaya gas-condensate field, located offshore at Palawan in the Philippines, supplies gas to three power stations on Luzon Island. The Malampaya Phase 3 (MP3) Project comprises the installation of a new Depletion Compression Platform (DCP) complete with a bridge linked to the existing Shallow Water Platform (SWP). Boskalis International B.V. – Philippine Branch has been awarded a Contract by Shell Philippines Exploration B.V. including the following work packages:

Transport and Installation of the Depletion Compression Platform (DCP) and Bridge.

positioning DCP platform from existing SWP platform using robotic totalstations.

On 13 of February at about 11:00 LT the DCP reached “touch down” within the tolerances of its required theoretical position. Again great Team-Effort for all involved parties.!!
